Take advantage of the proximity to the Ruta del Ferro, a cycling and hiking route that follows the old railway line between Ripoll and Ogassa. We are also on the GR1 route, perfect for long-distance lovers. From here, you can start numerous excursions in the Pyrenees and, in winter, enjoy the nearest ski slopes such as Vallter 2000, or La Molina and Masella, just over an hour away.

Sant Joan de les Abadesses, located in the heart of Ripollès, is a land rich in history and culture, known as the "Land of Counts and Abbots".

The town is famous for its imposing Monastery, founded in 887 by Guifré el Pelós. This jewel of heritage is not only a symbol of spirituality, but also an artistic center that houses valuable pieces, such as the renowned Romanesque Descent of Christ, and a museum with works dating back to the 11th century. In addition, you can explore the remains of the old medieval wall, which bear witness to the town's past.
